It's C-C-C-Cold Down Here!

Well, it was plenty cold in Rockport last night!  We got down to 18F for most of the night, but it's starting to warm up...it just got up to 19F!  It's only supposed to hit 34 for a very short while this afternoon, then drop back down into the 20s for the night.  But after that, we'll be warming back up to the 40's and be in the high 60's by Sunday!

When I got up this morning and it was 18 here, our home in Montana was only 6 degrees colder...that's crazy!  But they'll be a lot colder than we are really soon...

I can't wait for the weekend so I can try out my new lures!  I hope this cold snap hasn't affected the fishing too much and that the fish haven't been affected adversely.

ALSO, we were watching Texas Law, and the ranger was talking about the bag limit for Red Drum...I thought it was 5 fish, but it's actually only 3!! (Yes, the first thing I did was check the Texas Fishing website to be sure)  It's probably a good thing that we haven't caught our "limit" of redfish yet, because that would be a huge ticket for us both if we got caught!  Yikes!

Here's a couple of pics of the cold weather...the first one is my bedroom window...and no, it's not frosted glass!!
