Had date night with my hunny-bunny! Great Cajun boil dinner, then we went for a stroll on the new fishing pier that had been trashed by hurricane Harvey in 2017.
My hubby, Dale, and I have been full-time RV-ers for about 20 years, but quite a bit of that time has been just planted in a couple of spots. But now we're on the road again!! Our bucket list is simple - to go fishing in all 50 states. We try to be safe (most of the time) but sometimes you just have to get a little nuts, and that's what this blog is about...our adventures! So I started this blog to chronicle our adventures...and maybe give some useful information along the way. Enjoy!

This community is still trying to recover and rebuild from Harvey. There are still damaged buildings and bare foundations where buildings were demolished. I cannot imagine the power that Harvey unleashed on this little town.
The new pier is beautiful...and long! The green lights are supposed to attract fish at night. It's been open for only a couple of weeks. And just imagine...as long as this pier sticks out into the bay, the water at the end is no more than a couple of feet deep!
